It was the night of Feb. 2, 2008 in Houston, Texas. I was driving on Interstate 45 in my '04 Dodge pickup truck headed northbound at approximately 10:20pm. I took the West Mt. Houston exit and got on the road . The road was nearly empty which I thought was very strange. After driving about 8 miles, my truck was completely engulfed in fog, I don't know where it came from but didn't think much about it. The time was 10:27. After a few seconds the fog cleared and I was all of a sudden driving down Main Street in Tomball which is a good 15 to 20 miles from where I was when I entered the "fog" and way past my house! No time had passed..... it was still 10:27...the same song that was on the radio was still playing. Somehow, I had completely "bypassed" West Mt. Houston and Hwy 249! At this point I was under great confusion and pulled into a gas station to turn around and the truck started acting funny as if it didn't "like" whatever it went through. It wanted to die at traffic lights and just ran rough in general which it has never done in the 4 years I had it. It finally started running normal on the drive back home and has ever since. To this day I don't know what happened. A time/space warp? A tear or wrinkle in the fabric of space and time? I may never know. I do know that even though my truck has a big Hemi V-8, it does not have a "warp drive!"
