When I was 15 years old,(now 65) I saw a UFO with my parents driving a car and my brother and I in the back seat. The time of day was perhaps 10:30 or 11pm, so it was dark out. We were driving back home from a trip to visit relitives in Grand Island Ne.We were living in a small town 32 miles west of Grand Island
and and about 6 or 7 miles West of Grand Island we allsaw a UFO hovering above Hwy.2 maybe 70' above the highway. The UFO was circular and was lighted with what appeared as window which had lighted interiors.My Dad stopped the car and we set in the highway for some time, just looking at it. Dad and Mom were scared to drive under it but finally Dad mustered the courage to drive under it and get home, I had my head out the the window looking up and keep telling Dad to stop, but he was to frightened. I could hear no noise from the UFO, and when we arrived home my parents said my brother and I should tell no one about it cause they said people will think you are crazy. They owned a tavern at the time and they didn't want to loose any busisness. So we never discussed it with anyone until years later. This sighting was within a mile of a plant that manufactured bombs through the 40's-1973.
My brother also had another close encounter 10 years later and also saw several UFO's about 10 years ago I watched for about 1-2 hours doing aove amazing flying feats in Central Nebraska.
