Cable Shoots Show Down

From the time the show began on 11-Mar-2008, there were problems. The audio was not right. It just sounded like we were in the mud. I kept changing the settings on the mixer to improve the sound, but it just wasn't working.

Then, I brought Robbie Thomas on--or tried to. He was my guest and was on the telephone. When I tried to bring Robbie on, he could not hear me. Then suddenly, all the indicator lights on my mixer lit up and stayed on. It was as if someone were screaming into every channel on the mixer. And then, things got progressively worse.

I thought the problem was with my equipment. I could not imagine what could possible cause the strange problems we were having, but I was sure it was something wrong in the mixer. I had no choice but to put on a recording of a previous show.

I must say, I was pretty worried about the status of my electronics. I was afraid we were going to have to get a new mixer--something we can ill afford to do at this point.

Well, relief has come! The problem was a problem with my cable provider. I do not know precisely what the problem was, but some type of signal was feeding back up the cable into my equipment. It was powerful.

The cable company took the cable down during the night, and it was down until this afternoon. It is now back up and functioning just fine. You can't imagine how relieved I am to know it was not our equipment fritzing. The show goes on!

A Great Friend Has Passed

Michel Lefebvre of Qebec has been a real friend of the Kevin Smith Show for several years. On Sunday, March 2, 2008 Michel suffered a massive heart attack and passed to the other side.

Though I never met Michel in person, we became friends. He sent me e-mail almost daily. He searched the internet for stories about UFOs, ancient civilizations, and other strange phenomena, and he sent to me the stories he found. More than once, the material Michel sent to me found its way into shows. More than once, the material Michel sent me turned out to be my rescue when a scheduled guest pulled off a last minute postponement. Had it not been for the "Michel material", that night's show would have been a disaster.

He did not always agree with my views on things, and he was not bashful about saying so. I appreciated that in Michel. He was a man of great integrity, and he knew how to disagree with someone's view while still remaining their friend.

Michel is in a far better place today than he was in before Sunday. He no longer has to deal with the outrages of life on this side. And I am proud to say he was my friend. I will miss him.

Audience In 95 Countries

In 2004, we were proud to announce that the Kevin Smith Show was being heard in 29 countries. I thought that was impressive (and it was) at the time. Then, in about 2006, we checked again and found the show had audience in 59 countries. That astounded me. In 2007, we checked again and found that our audience was located in 70 countries. That blew me away.

We have just checked again, and I am pleased to announce that the Kevin Smith Show is being heard in 95 countries. I am truly humbled. Here is the list of countries where we have audience. The list is ranked based on the number of listeners.

Number 13 is curious. I wonder where that country is. I wonder who populates it. Any guesses?

While appearing live on the Kevin Smith Show on Monday, February 25, 2008, UFO Researcher Dick Criswell took several live reports about UFO sightings. Some were from Eastern Canada and others from the area of the Turkey Point Nuclear Power Generating Plant near Homestead, Florida. The Florida sightings involved both cylindrical and triangular shaped UFOs. Earlier today, Tuesday, February 26, 2008, we received more reports of triangular shaped UFOs near Homestead and the nuclear power plant operated by Florida Power and Light.

Just after receiving the additional reports of UFO sightings from the Homestead area, more reports came in from areas all along the East Coast of Florida. Shortly after that, the Turkey Point Nuclear Power Generating automatically shut down leaving millions of South Florida residents without power. Based on the reports we received and the fact that UFOs have been directly and indirectly connected to other power outages and failures throughout the years, we believe that the Florida outage was caused by the presence of UFOs.

Recent UFO sightings in Texas have stirred up national interest in the subject. IPUS has received reports of UFO sightings from many parts of the USA and from other nations as well. UFO activity seems to be on the rise. According to a recent poll, a vast majority of Americans believe that UFOs are real and not easily explainable. Many say they have had UFO experiences themselves. The entertainment industry has taken notice with a number of television programs and films about this subject in the works.

A remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still is currently filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada starring Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly. Ironically, the main character in the original 1951 film proves that he has the power to influence earth affairs by causing a worldwide power outage at a specific time on a specific day.

While it’s unknown whether or not we are witnessing a demonstration of alien technology in terms of the Florida power outage, it’s certain that UFOs have been connected to these events before. Philadelphia Experiment survivor, Al Bielek, predicted that the U.S. Government would use Alien technology to cause a massive power outage in August of 2003 while appearing on the Coast To Coast radio broadcast. That event happened and affected a huge area of the USA.

During the famous Northeast USA Power Outage that occurred during November of 1965, UFOs were spotted near the Niagara Falls power station before and during the outage. Many New Yorkers and those visiting the city during the blackout reported seeing UFOs and some took photos of these objects. The witnesses included police officers, fire firefighters, military members and even celebrities.

Actors Warren Beatty and Stuart Whitman reported seeing disc shaped UFOs near the Empire State Building. They both happened to be staying in the same hotel and witnessed the objects from their hotel room windows. On other occasions, World Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali and Musician John Lennon reported seeing UFOs hovering and flying very low over the area near Central park and the U.N. Building.

Dick Criswell was appearing live on the Kevin Smith Show when reports came into the program about UFO sightings in Florida and Canada. Additional reports continued coming into IPUS today via email right up to the time of the Florida power outage. Based on the information we have at the moment, Dick believes that the power outage and UFO reports in Florida are probably connected. We’ll bring you more as the information is processed and becomes available.

President Reagan's ET/UFO Briefing

While there is no way at all for me to be able to verify that the information is true and accurate, I can say it is interesting. Very interesting. It's authenticity must not be assumed. In fact, no alleged UFO evidence should ever be assumed to be authentic. Time and investigation will tell us whether it is, or is not, true.

Project Serpo (http://www.serpo.org) has posted what it says is a transcript of a classified tape recording of President Reagan being briefed about UFOs and ETs. I am unclear on how a classified piece of information like this could have come into the possession of Project Serpo, but there it is. Perhaps it is real. As I said, it is more than interesting. I didn't find any new information in it that I ahd never heard before. But I did find it interesting that, if true, could give some background on President Reagan's oft repeated statements about the possible existence of extraterrestrial life. He shocked his advisors and speech writers when he told the United Nations that our differences would vanish if we were threatened by some off world civilization. But he said that same thing in several speeches. Why? Perhaps this "briefing" is the reason.

Egyptians say Bosnian Pyramids Man Made

 Semir Osmanagic shook the world when he announced he had discovered pyramids in Bosnia. Several "credentialed" archeologists virtually spat at the idea. One from England went to Visoko, the town in Bosnia where the pyramids are located, but never went up on the structures to look at the evidence for himself. Nevertheless, after a few minutes in the area, he declared that these structures were not pyramids.

Dr. Robert Schoch, who has been up on the structures, stated on the Kevin Smith Show that he did not believe them to be pyramids. He said they were only natural geological structures that had a pyramidal shape.

However, the real pyramid experts on earth are from (not surprisingly) Egypt. A team of pyramid experts from Egypt have been to Visoko to look at the alleged pyramids. According to Osmanagic, their opinion was that these were, indeed, man made pyramids. That being the case, these are the largest pyramids known to exist on the planet--even larger than the ones at Giza.

New Player Rocks

Our "new" player simply rocks, but the truth is that it isn't really new. It is just new to us. It is provided by JetCast.com, and has been around long enough for just over 40 million people to download it. So it is certainly accurate to say it is tried and tested.

Actually, the "player" inside that skin is Windows Media Player. So for those who say, "That damned new player just won't work for me", one must ask, "Does Windows Media Player work for you?". If it does, then that new player works because that is what it is. It IS Windows Media Player--with a different skin on it. You may need to download the JetCast plug-in in order for it to work on your computer.
